Hello, guys! Has your role expanded since you have started your job from your client, but your rate/salary stayed the same?

Here's a sample email for salary or rate increase.

Dear [Manager's Name],

I hope this message finds you well. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with such a great team and company. I am reaching out to you regarding my compensation at [Company Name]. I believe that my role has expanded, and I would like to discuss my compensation.

Over the past [duration], I have been fortunate to take on additional responsibilities such as [list the new tasks you have taken on]. I enjoy these new tasks and have been working hard to meet and exceed the expectations placed upon me.

Considering my contributions to the company, I would like to discuss the possibility of a raise in compensation. I understand that such decisions are made after careful consideration, and I would be more than happy to discuss this further during our next meeting.

Please let me know what you think about this proposal, and if you have any suggestions or feedback. Thank you for your time and consideration, and I am looking forward to discussing this with you further.

Best regards,

[Your Name]

This is a great read...

A child's brain isn't a miniature adult brain. It's a brain born under construction that wires itself to the worldβ€”and parents must to create an environment that's rich with wiring instructions.

The reason why I couldn't emphasize more that, when choosing a niche, you have to make sure that you're leaning towards a field that you're interested in. Freelancing is not just a "means to an end"--it's a lifestyle. If you choose a niche for the sole reason that it's trendy, high-paying, or in-demand; without interest, you'll burn out. You'll be jumping from one client to another. You will be building a portfolio for something you don't love (or worse--hate!). Don't be pressured if you haven't found your niche though, this is a journey.
