Before the Oil Crisis: Once a month lang at parepareho and price movement ng LPG.

Now and During the Oil Crisis: Almost weekly or no schedule at hindi pareho ang price movement ng LPG.

Bakit kaya?… bakit sa diesel at gasolina pareho ang price movement at every Tuesday lang?

Maybe the Department of Energy shall also monitor the LPG industry.

Since we are still on the State of National Energy Emergency dapat ang Department of Energy na rin ang mag dedictate sa price movement ng LPG pareho sa fuel to stop profiteering by some of the LPG companies and dealers.

For those who are still using uncertified LPG cylinder, check the following components of your LPG system.
▪️ Check the rubber gasket off the regulator if intact.
▪️ Check your LPG hose for cracks using soapy water.
▪️ Check the tightness of the hose clamps on both ends.
▪️ Check the neckring where the cylinder valve is installed using soapy water. Check also the pressure relief valve for leaks.
▪️ Fully open the cylinder valve check to check if there's a leak in the stem located under the handwheel using soapy water.

This may happen to you if you buy from unauthorized and unlicensed sellers.

According to the customer she bought this LPG from her neighbor store at Lumina Homes. The tank seems to have available gas inside because it is still heavy. Using a weighing scale it still register a weight of 17.5kg, more or less or a net content of about 5.5kg. But when we turned the tank upside down water came out. So the tank was filled with about 5.5kg of WATER instead of LPGas. What a loss to the customer for an expensive LPG she paid. Accordingly, this happened to her twice already from same seller.

The moral of the story:
1. Buy only at an authorized and licensed LPG dealer or outlet
2. Make sure the tank is properly sealed
3. Weigh the tank correctly

You may report this unlicensed sellers to the DOE, DTI, BFP or the LGU.

Beware of illegal LPG sellers and retailers.

Wag na magdagdag sa flammable situations—siguraduhing ang mga madaling magliyab na bagay ay hindi malapit sa stove o LPG.
