KAGAYA NON, is a tagalog phrase that literally translates to "similar to-", and at the same time a play on words to the term "Kagay-anon" which refers to the locals of Cagayan de Oro. The purpose of this group is to seek compilation ,and ultimately, publication of the artworks of CdeO based (or former CDO-based) digital artists who may or may not have their own individual art pages/businesses yet.

"Kagaya non", because we will be having publications and launching pages /websites as a collective, similar to what other organizations composed of artists from various art scenes all over the country who are already ahead of us in this aspect are doing.

Good day!

We share everyone's enthusiasm regarding our on-going Sketchcard Making (aka art) Contest.

And since we are still receiving inquiries in our inbox from interested parties despite the event where we had our booth stationed already ending last Sunday, we have decided to extend our contest registration.

You can now visit Pizza Patsada - CDO , located at 21st-27th. Streets, Brgy. Nazareth ( beside Vietman CÀ PHÊ ) to register & claim your blank sketchcards for your entries. The store is open from 10 AM to 5 PM Mondays to Saturdays.

Here are also some FAQ regarding our contest:

Q. What is the contest about?

A. Our contest is an art contest that asks participants to make their own "sketchcard" by means of drawing & painting a fanart of their favorite fictional characters or sports personalities/ celebrities, through the use of traditional art materials on the blank card that we are providing.

Q. Who can enter the contest?

A. The contest is open to anyone interested above the age of 18.

Q. How do I enter the contest?

A. You can enter the contest by following the step by step registration instructions on this post.

Q. What are the prizes for winning?

A. We are distributing the ff. items for our first, second, & 3rd place winners:
