Kaya't mahigpit na pinagbabawal ng DOE at BFP ang pah-imbak o pagbebenta ng LPG sa residential areas lalo na kung ito ay gawa sa light materials at walang permit.

Dapat tandaan na iwasang mag-imbak o mag-lagay ng LPG malapit sa mga electrical outlet, plugs, equipment or any heat sources na puwedeng pag-mulan ng spark or ignition.

Iwasan ring mag-lagay o gawing storage ng LPG or other flammables items ang malapit sa mga pintuan (entrance and/or exits), ilalim ng hagdanan, o iba pang mga lugar na puwedeng maging daanan sa oras ng emergency.
