🔥 LAGUNA HEAT ADVISORY: Stay Hydrated! 🔥
Heads up, Laguna! We are experiencing extreme heat today, with the heat index reaching a scorching 38°C to 44°C.
At this level, we are in the "Danger" category. This isn't just uncomfortable, it means heat cramps and heat exhaustion are highly likely, and heat stroke is a real possibility with prolonged exposure.
Here is your friendly reminder to DRINK YOUR WATER! 💧
Please don't wait until you feel thirsty to hydrate. Here are a few quick tips to beat the heat and stay safe today:
💧 Hydrate Constantly: Aim for at least 8 to 10 glasses of water today. Keep a water bottle with you at all times.
💧Skip the Sugary/Caffeinated Drinks: Sodas, coffee, and alcohol can actually dehydrate you further. Stick to water or electrolyte drinks.
💧Avoid Peak Heat: Try to stay indoors or in the shade between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM when the sun is at its strongest.
💧Dress Smart: Wear lightweight, light-colored, and loose-fitting clothing to help your body cool down.
💧Know the signs of heat exhaustion: Heavy sweating, weakness, cold/pale/clammy skin, fast but weak pulse, nausea, or fainting. If you or someone else experiences these, move to a cool place immediately and sip water.
Stay safe, keep cool, and please share this reminder with your family and friends. Ingat tayo, Laguna! 💙🥤☀️
