Been a little quiet lately, and this is why. 🤎
Sobrang busy ko these past few months building the business, managing orders, preparing stocks, and trying to grow something of our own.
You want to grow, you want to earn, you want to make something out of the opportunities God has given you. Pero habang hinahabol mo yung mga bagay na gusto mong ma-achieve, minsan hindi mo napapansin na yung mga anak mo, lumalaki rin pala habang abala ka.
And that hit me.
Kasi one of the reasons I chose homeschooling was to be more present in their lives. To guide them, teach them, and be intentional with their childhood. Pero lately, I found myself so busy building something that I almost forgot the very reason why I wanted this kind of life in the first place.
Kaya I’m learning to slow down.
I’ll be slowing down with book selling for a while. Not because I’m giving up on Love-rary, but because I need to make room for the things that matter most. The books can wait. The business can grow at a pace that our family can manage. There will always be another stock to unpack, another order to fulfill, another goal to reach.
But my children will only be this little once.
Hindi ko gustong dumating sa point na successful nga akong nakapag-build ng business, pero namiss ko naman yung childhood ng mga anak ko.
I still want to grow this business. I still have dreams for Love-rary. But I also want to enjoy the life we’re building, not just keep working to build it.
So if things look a little slower around here, this is why. I'm choosing to be more present, to make more room for our homeschool days, and to give my children more of me, not just whatever energy I have left after work.
And with that, I hope you’ll still continue to support us and Love-rary. 🤎
We may be slowing down for a while, but we’re not giving up on this little dream. We’re simply learning to grow it at a pace that allows me to be present for my children, too.
Thank you for being part of our journey. Your support means more than you know.
At the end of the day, the business is part of our life. My children are not supposed to be the part of our life that gets whatever is left.
They are the priority. Always. 🤎
