ATTENTION TO ALL FILIPINO SEAFARERS!
Some Important Tips & Guidelines Regarding CLAIMS & BENEFITS for ILLNESS & INJURY !!!
(SEAFARERS MUST Protect & Know Your Rights in Claiming your Benefits.)
Kung ikaw ay:
🔸REPATRIATED o "PINABABA" ng barko, Contracted to illness , Injury or Accident even Death while on Onboard.
🔸About to Finish their medications within 120days or under medication.
🔸If Finish Contract at may iniindang karamdaman, It is a must to report on your respective company within 72 hours(3days) upon arrival in here in the Philippines para ipaalam ang iyong kondisyon ng magpagUnder- GO ng Post Medical Treatment. Kung may makita man na illness o sakit, Obligasyon ng company na ipagamot ang isang seaman.
Eto po ang mga benifits na makukuha nyo dito sa pilipinas :
🆗1. Free medication here in the Philippines.
- Ang medication po ng isang Seafarer na aksidente, na-injured or nagkasakit while on board ay tumatagal ng 120 days. Pero kung sa loob ng 120days ay nag-abiso ang company doctor na kailangang i-extended ang medication or treatment, dito na papasok ang tinatawag na - "PERIOD OF EXTENSION" na
240 days medication, na nakasaad sa bagong batas. So, it's the doctors call or prerogative if its extended or not ang medication and it needs to be reported or documented.
🆗2. SEAFARERS whose under Medication (for Repatriated ONLY) will have a basic salary or Sickness Allowance for 4months, and they can reimburse all their transportation expenses.
After the Medication or within 120 days from the time the seaman had contracted an illness or injury, he should be assessed or declared disabled or fit to work. If he is not satisfied or contented with the doctors findings, he has the right to appeal or contest.
🆗3. A SEAFARER is entitled to FILE his DISABILITY BENEFITS para makakuha ng mas malaking benepisyo sa kanilang Insurance, upang magawa ito kailangan ng assistance ng isang Martime Law Office.
✴A seaman has more benefits if he is a member of a UNION or may (CBA) Collective Bargaining Agreement ang kanyang barkong sinasakyan like TCC, JSU, PNO, ITF, AMOSUP, etc. Once you are a legit member of any of these automatically you are entitled to get the maximum compensation benefits that is due to you.
➡Kung kayo po ay may kamag-anak o kakilala, maari nyo po silang idulog sa aming Tanggapan upang mabigyan po namin sila ng Tama at Sapat na impormasyon na kailangan nila para hindi sila umasa sa mga pangako ng kani-kanilang mga ahensya☺.
Alam naman po natin na ang buhay sa barko ay hindi madali, kalaban natin ay lungkot at pangungulila sa mga minamahal natin kaya dapat IPAGLABAN NYO ANG INYONG KARAPATAN BILANG MARINO. HUWAG MAGPALOKO KABARO!
