ATTENTION ALL PHILIPPINE NURSES WITH 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE!!!

AUSTRALIAN NEW REGISTRATION PROCESS STARTS TODAY OCTOBER 1, 2019.

- All International Qualified Nurses and Midwives can start processing their Registration with Australian Registration body, AHPRA, through a new assessment system called OBA (Outcome-based Assessment).

It is a NEW streamlined 3 parts assessment phases.
Previous “Bridging” Programs won’t be offered anymore from October 1, 2019. This is good news to all IQNMs (International Qualified Nurses and Midvives) AS THIS WILL GIVE those with “relevant qualifications but NOT substantially equivalent or based on similar competencies to an Australian approved qualifications”, to have a registration in AUSTRALIA through 3 phase assessment.

3 phase OBA:
1) Cognitive - computer-based multiple choice test.
2) Behavioural - a comprehensive nurses attitude towards their profession (has to pass first the Cognitive Phase)
3) Orientation Program - both government orientation and employer orientation ( this is where IQNMs gets conditional Australian qualification and looks for employer).
