Pinipilit ka ba ng iyong employer na pumasok sa trabaho kahit na may banta sa iyong kaligtasan? Tinatakot ka ba na ikaw ay bibigyan ng parusa kapag ikaw ay hindi pumasok? 𝙃𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙞 𝙥𝙬𝙚𝙙𝙚 𝙮𝙖𝙣!

Sa ilalim ng Section 3 of Labor Advisory No. 1, Series of 2020, at Section 3 of Labor Advisory No. 17, Series of 2022, mariing sinabi rito na:

May karapatan ang isang empleyado na tumangging pumasok kung may banta sa kanyang kaligtasan dulot ng kalamidad e.g., bagyo, lindol, pagbaha etc. Bukod pa rito, hindi rin pwedeng bigyan ng disciplinary action ang mga empleyadong mabibigong pumasok, o pipiliing hindi pumasok dahil sa kalamidad.

Ang uring manggagawa ang tunay na gulugod ng lipunan, ngunit patuloy na hinaharap ang mababang pasahod, kontraktwalisasyon, at kawalan ng tunay na seguridad sa trabaho.

Hindi sapat ang pasasalamat kung hindi ito sinusundan ng hustisya. Hindi sapat ang paggunita kung walang konkretong pagbabago.
