Carrascal Nickel Corporation, as a 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒖𝒎 𝑺𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒐𝒓, was proud to be part of this year’s summit and share our commitment to responsible mining and meaningful community development.

On the final day of the exhibit, visitors dropped by the CNC Booth to learn more about our initiatives in environmental stewardship, progressive rehabilitation, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable community development.

Moreover, the Day 2 booth experience came with some 𝐒𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐓 𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐒 and 𝐂𝐍𝐂 𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐄 to make the experience even more memorable!

Carrascal Nickel Corporation participated in the 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 for 𝐼𝐸𝐶 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑃𝑎𝑔𝑒 𝑀𝑎𝑛𝑎𝑔𝑒𝑟𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝐶𝑜𝑚𝑝𝑎𝑛𝑦 𝐴𝑐𝑐𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑡𝑠 facilitated by Credo-Caraga, INC. and Mines and Geosciences Bureau Regional Office No. XIII Caraga held on October 1, 2026, at the Philippine Gateway Hotel, Surigao City.

Representing CNC was Ms. Karen Rose V. Flor, IEC Officer under the Community Relations Department, who joined fellow IEC and social media practitioners from the mining industry in a learning session focused on strengthening digital communication and responsible social media management.

The workshop featured discussions on strategic digital communications and reputation management for the mining industry, covering approaches to building trust, defending reputation, and strengthening the social license to operate. A hands-on workshop also provided participants with practical insights applicable to managing company social media platforms.

CNC continues to invest in effective, responsible, and strategic communication, recognizing the vital role of accurate and meaningful information in building trust and fostering stronger relationships with stakeholders and communities.

Carrascal Nickel Corporation actively participated in the 1st CMHRMCI HR Forum held on October 1, 2026, at Gateway Hotel, Surigao City, as part of the 2026 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐚 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭

Representing CNC was Minesite HR Head Mr. Neil Ryan C. Capangpangan, who joined fellow mining industry professionals and human resource practitioners in discussions centered on the theme:

Thru CNC - Community Relations Department and its RHNC members, the conduct of the Annual Social Development and Management Program - 𝐑𝐇𝐍𝐂 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 for CY 2027 were successfully held yesterday, September 28, 2026 at CNC Campsite, Training Building. This activity is duly participated with the presence of the CNC Resident Manager, Engr. Alec John T. Domiclong along with the Community Relations Department Head, Mr. Carulus Ray G. Lantion and his team together with the CNC 23 Representatives of Host and Neighboring Communities (RHNC) Members.

This activity objects to present the consolidated barangay planning output from the 13 barangays, countercheck and analyze the propose PPA's per barangay based on the guidelines of Mines and Geosciences Bureau specifically on the social aspect and LGU development plan to avoid duplication and redundancies.

Furthermore, it is an aid to accomplish the SDMP proposed projects and programs in CY 2027 for finalization and endorsement to MGB-RO No. XIII Mines and Geosciences Bureau Regional Office No. XIII Caraga for deliberation subject for approval.

RHNC-ASDMP Planning is conducted annually ensuring that the community shall be involved in decision-making to formulate, identify and prioritize their felt needs. In this event, were proper venue is prepared; aim to meet the proper understanding and expectation to holistically design and approach the best strategies in planning for the betterment of the community.

Carrascal Nickel Corporation, through its 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (SDMP) for 𝗖𝗬 2026, officially turned over various forms of assistance to the Carrascal Municipal Police Station, Philippine National Police (PNP).

The assistance includes 20 sacks of rice intended to support the PNP Carrascal’s outreach programs and community activities, two (2) units of 1.0 HP Window-Type Full DC Inverter Air-Conditioners (Condura), and five (5) Kyocera Toner Cartridges to support their office and operational requirements.

The turn-over reflects CNC’s continuing commitment to strengthening partnerships with government agencies and supporting initiatives that contribute to meaningful community engagement and public service in Carrascal.

Through the SDMP, CNC continues to support programs and activities that foster collaboration, strengthen community partnerships, and contribute to the well-being of its host and neighboring communities.

Carrascal Nickel Corporation conducted its 2026 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (AEPEP) 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳 on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟯–𝟮𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗮, 𝗦𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗼 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱.

The activity provided a platform for meaningful collaboration and stakeholder participation in support of responsible and sustainable mineral resource development.

Pursuant to Republic Act No. 7942, or the Philippine Mining Act of 1995, and its Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations under DENR Administrative Order No. 2010-21, the activity supports participatory and transparent monitoring of mining operations and facilitates the review and alignment of the Company’s Environmental Protection.

During the activity, CNC was also presented with a Plaque of Appreciation from DENR-Caraga in recognition of the Company’s continued partnership, invaluable support, and unwavering commitment to the successful conduct of the DENR Express: Permitting on Wheels.

The activity brought together stakeholders from government agencies, local government units, host communities, MMT members, and CNC, with the following objectives:

Strengthen collaboration, transparency, and stakeholder participation in ensuring regulatory compliance; and
Identify innovative approaches and emerging technologies that can enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of CNC’s Environmental Protection, Safety and Health, and Social Development and Management Programs.

Through collaborative planning and continued stakeholder engagement, CNC remains committed to strengthening environmental stewardship, promoting responsible operations, and contributing to sustainable development.

Carrascal Nickel Corporation conducted its Annual Safety and Health Program (ASHP) 2027 – Planning and Drafting of Projects on September 23–24, 2026, at 𝐎𝐜𝐞𝐚𝐧 101 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭, 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐮𝐧𝐚, 𝐒𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐨 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝, 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬.

The activity was facilitated by the 𝐂𝐍𝐂 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 headed by 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫 𝐉𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐆. The planning activity brought together CNC Safety and Health Department representatives and key stakeholders from partner government agencies to collaboratively discuss, develop, and align projects and initiatives aimed at strengthening occupational safety and health, emergency preparedness, disaster response, and workplace resilience.
