🎇 - Day 20

feels like a mix of uncertainty and gratitude.

Flying back to the Philippines with the possibility of cancellation hanging in the air must have been heavy—but our hope and prayer carried us through.

Departing Dubai at almost 6pm, it turned that moment into a testimony of trust: “Thank You, Lord.”

I love how you anchor even tense journeys in faith.

It transforms what could be anxiety into a reminder of God’s protection and timing. ✈️🙏

🎇 - 19 days

We’re flying home tomorrow, but no one knows if flights will hold or be canceled.

Living in uncertainty, holding on to faith. ✈️🤞🏻🙏🏻

🎇 - day 18

🇦🇪 Here in the UAE, everything is calm and safe.

Even with all the noise happening around the world, life here stays peaceful, steady, and grounded.

Grateful to be in a place that values stability and security.

Kaya lang until when kaya ang war. 🥹

🎇 - Day 17

Seventeen days of war.
Seventeen days of uncertainty.
But also seventeen days of safety — and for that, we are deeply grateful.

Being here in Dubai during such a difficult time has reminded us how fortunate we are to be in a country that values stability, compassion, and humanity. The UAE government has given us a place to breathe and to feel protected while the world around us feels unpredictable.

We don’t take that for granted.

Thank you to the UAE and its leadership for creating a home of peace in a time when peace feels rare. We are safe because of you, and we are grateful beyond words. ☝🏻🧿

But ofcourse we keep on praying for these war to end. 🙏🏻

🎇 - Day 16

The conflict still continues to escalate across the Middle East.

Here in Dubai 🇦🇪, there have been disruptions like flight delays and security alerts, but life continues and we are safe.

Authorities are monitoring the situation closely and defenses have intercepted many threats.

Praying for peace and safety for everyone in the region.

Stay calm, stay informed, and stay safe. 🙏🧿

Thankful that im with my family in these time. Missing you tito Dam.

🎇 - day 15

It’s been 15 days since tensions escalated between Iran and the US, and the whole region feels the weight of uncertainty.

Living here in the UAE, we’re watching history unfold right next door — hoping for stability, praying for peace, and trying to stay grounded while the world feels anything but calm.

In moments like this, you really feel how connected everything is. One decision in one place can ripple across borders in seconds. Still, life goes on around us: people working, families gathering, cities moving forward with their usual energy. It’s a reminder of how resilient this region truly is.

May the coming days bring clarity, calm, and a path toward peace for everyone affected. ☝🏻🙏🏻🧿

🎇 Day 14

Baka naman, Iran… tama na. 😂 Ang tagal na nito. People keep saying “WW3 na ba?” but honestly, only God knows. it’s written in the Bible, it will happen in His time. For now, gusto pa namin umuwi sa Pinas. So please… stop na, oy. 🫣 hahaha

But in these 14 days, one thing became very clear: Dubai and the UAE are truly amazing. ☝🏻

Super neutral, super calm, and they really protect the people living here. Grabe yung peace and order — ibang level.

Grateful, hopeful, and praying for safety for everyone. 🙏✨🧿

We are thankful everyday that we are safe. ☝🏻

🎇 Day 13

Thirteen days have passed, and life here in the UAE continues with stability and calm.

Even with everything happening around the world, Dubai and the UAE remain steady — and I’m truly grateful for the leadership that keeps this place safe and united.

Sometimes I can’t help but wonder… if something like this happened back home in the Philippines, I’m not sure our government could protect us the way the UAE does. Living here really shows the difference strong leadership can make.

Grateful for the peace we have today, and hopeful for brighter days ahead.

🎇 - 12 days

When will this war finally end? Even though the UAE isn’t part of the fight, we still feel the impact every single day. it’s worrying, and it weighs on all of us.

But in the middle of all this uncertainty, we are genuinely grateful for the leadership of Dubai and the UAE. And i will not get tired of saying this all over again. Their stability, their calm, and their commitment to protecting everyone who calls this place home give us strength.

No matter how tough things get, we stand together.

May peace come sooner than we expect.

🎇 - Day 11
Here in Dubai, things remain calm and steady despite everything happening around the region.

We’re grateful to feel safe, and we make sure to keep our family updated so they never have to worry.☝🏻🧿

Staying hopeful, staying aware, and keeping everyone affected in our thoughts.

🎇- Day 10

Ten days into the US–Iran war, and the world still feels heavy with uncertainty.

Every update reminds us how quickly things can change, yet the routines inside our home keep us steady.

It’s a busy Monday — both of us are working remotely, while Zakky is in the living room doing his online learning and karate, kicking with all the confidence only a child can have. His energy brings a little light into days that feel tense.

Through it all, I’m deeply grateful for the leadership of the UAE — our second home — for keeping us safe and protected. That sense of security means everything right now.

And every evening, when the day finally slows down, we open the Bible together. Thanks to Ate Ain and tay Mark for our daily life book — it’s become our quiet moment of grounding, reflection, and strength.

Ending the day with God’s Word brings a peace that the world can’t shake.

Strange days, heavy days, but we keep going.

One routine, one prayer, one breath at a time. ☝🏻🧿

08/03/2026

🎇- Day 9

Even with the world acting dramatic, we still squeezed in a family day — food, laughs, and the usual “chismisan”. 🤣

Grateful for these moments and extra grateful to the UAE for keeping us safe every single day.

Family, safety, and dessert… undefeated combo. 🤣☝🏻

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever‑present help in trouble.”
