Twelve years ago the bill we filed as a congressman to exempt minimum wage earners from income tax was enacted into law. And that was just the start. In the Senate we have updated this policy to keep up with the value of money and we have expanded it to exempt workers earning up to P250,000/year and raised the tax free ceiling of the 13th month pay and other bonuses so our workers can take home more for their family.
