Interns Summit "Innovate. Connect. Thrive." The National Interns Summit is the flagship initiative of The Interns Hub, the leading platform for interns in the Philippines.

This momentous gathering will bring together hundreds of ambitious interns, esteemed professionals, and influential industry leaders under one roof, creating an unparalleled opportunity for networking, learning, and growth.

In addition to empowering interns, the summit aims to spread awareness among companies about the value of having interns onboard. We recognize that not all companies fully realize the power and potential that interns bring to their workforce. By highlighting the transformative impact of internships, we aim to foster a deeper understanding of how interns can contribute to organizational success and innovation. During the summit, we will showcase success stories, insights from industry experts, and best practices that demonstrate the benefits of integrating interns into the workforce. Our goal is to inspire companies to embrace internships as a strategic tool for talent development and business growth.

700 interns. 7 speakers. 6 sessions. Countless ideas, conversations, and connections.

That was Interns Summit 2026.

Hundreds of students, interns, fresh graduates, industry professionals, and companies came together in Cebu for one shared purpose: to help the next generation become better prepared for the future of work.

From career development and personal branding to AI and vibe coding, the future of internships, networking, and real conversations with employers — the Summit was designed to give young people something they don't always get inside the classroom: direct access to industry.

But the numbers only tell part of the story.

It's the introductions that could become internships.
The conversations that could become opportunities.
The lessons that could change someone's career direction.
And the connections that continue long after the Summit ends.

This is why we built Interns Summit. And we're only getting started.

Getting the internship is only the beginning. What you do with it matters.

At Interns Summit 2026, Gregoria Flores took on a question almost every intern eventually asks:

How do I go from intern to employee?

The conversation focused on what happens beyond simply completing internship hours — and how students can approach their internship as the beginning of their professional reputation and career.

Because the interns who stand out aren't necessarily the ones who know everything on Day 1.

They're the ones who learn, contribute, take initiative, build trust and show that they can create value.

An internship may be temporary.

The impression you leave doesn't have to be.

Interns Summit 2026 may be over, but your career journey is just beginning.

To every student, intern, fresh graduate, speaker, company, school, partner, sponsor, and volunteer who joined us — thank you for making Interns Summit 2026 in Cebu a day of learning, networking, career opportunities, and meaningful connections.

Now comes the most important part: take what you learned and do something with it.

Update that LinkedIn profile. Build your portfolio. Follow up with the person you met. Apply for that internship. Explore AI. Stay connected with the companies you discovered. And keep investing in the person you're becoming.

The Summit was one day. The connections and opportunities created here can go much further.

And if you missed Interns Summit 2026?

We'll see you at the next one.

Our careers don't develop in isolation.

At Interns Summit 2026, Julie Kristine de Guzman-Deer, Family Life and Child Development Specialist, brought a different and deeply human perspective to career development.

Her session, “Family Influences in Career Growth,” explored how our personal foundations can shape the choices we make, the way we see ourselves and ultimately the direction we take professionally.

Because preparing for your career isn't only about technical skills, résumés and interviews.

Understanding who you are, what shaped you and what influences your decisions matters too.

A meaningful reminder for every young person figuring out not only what they want to do — but who they want to become.

Your next opportunity could start with one conversation.

At Interns Summit 2026, networking wasn't just a break between sessions - it was part of the experience.

Students and young professionals had the opportunity to meet fellow participants, speak directly with companies and industry professionals, explore internship and career opportunities, exchange ideas, and start building connections beyond the classroom.

Because career growth isn't only about what you know. It's also about the people you meet, the perspectives you gain, and the relationships you build along the way.

A simple introduction today could lead to a mentor, internship, collaboration, job opportunity, or lifelong professional connection tomorrow.

This is why networking remains at the heart of the Interns Summit: bringing the next generation of Filipino talent closer to the people and opportunities that can help shape their careers.

Keep connecting. Keep learning. Keep growing.

The woman behind Interns Summit 2026.

Imee Fitzgerald, Founder of The Interns Hub, brought together students, employers, educators and industry leaders for one purpose: to help prepare the next generation for the future of work.

But she didn't just organize the Summit.

She also brought one of its most important conversations to the stage: The Future of Internships & Staying Hireable in the AI Era.

Together with leaders representing different industries and organizations, the panel explored what internships need to become, how AI is changing the workplace, what employers will expect from the next generation, and what students can start doing now to remain valuable in a rapidly changing world.

Because Interns Summit was never created to be just another student event.

It was created to bridge the gap between education and industry - giving young people access to the conversations, companies, opportunities, and knowledge that can shape what happens after the classroom.

Interns Summit 2026 may have lasted one day.

But the goal is to create an impact that lasts far beyond it.

Before the doors opened, the work had already begun.

A little behind-the-scenes look at the people who helped bring Interns Summit 2026 to life.

From preparing the registration area and organizing materials to briefing the team and making sure every last detail was ready - these are the moments participants don't always get to see.

Months of planning. Countless messages, meetings, checklists, last-minute changes, and a team willing to jump in wherever they were needed - all leading up to one day dedicated to creating opportunities for the next generation.

Interns Summit isn't built by one person. It takes a team.

To everyone who worked behind the scenes to make Interns Summit 2026 happen: thank you for helping us turn the plan into reality.

And then… the doors opened. 💙

Before you enter the room, your digital presence may have already introduced you.

At Interns Summit 2026, Le-an Lai Lacaba, CEO & Co-Founder of 2XYou, showed our participants why building a career today requires more than simply having a résumé.

Through her session on LinkedIn, Portfolios & Personal Branding, Le-an shared how students and young professionals can intentionally present their skills, experience, and potential - and build a professional presence that helps them stand out to employers.

Your LinkedIn is more than a profile.

Your portfolio is more than a collection of work.

And your personal brand isn't something you start building once you graduate.

Your career story is already being written. Make sure you're helping tell it.

If you can think it, you can build it.

And Jack Fitzgerald proved it live at Interns Summit 2026.

Speaking on “Vibe Coding: The Skill That Makes You Hard to Replace,” the Founder and CMO of Geonode introduced our participants to just how dramatically AI is changing the way we create.

Then came the part that amazed the room: Jack demonstrated how an idea could become a working, interactive platform in just minutes.

No months of development. No massive team. An idea, the right AI tools, and the ability to tell technology what you want to create.

The bigger lesson wasn't simply about coding.

It was about what becomes possible when young professionals learn how to work with AI instead of being afraid of it.

The barrier between “I have an idea” and “I built it” is getting smaller.

And the next generation entering the workforce has an incredible opportunity to take advantage of it.

Think it. Build it. Make yourself hard to replace.
