For Mindanao State University - General Santos alumna Camille Timoteo, building a rewarding career also meant finding opportunities to grow right here in CallTek. 🎓🧡

A BS Information Technology graduate, Camille has taken on different roles and accounts throughout her CallTek journey. Today, she is a Supervisor L2, handling greater responsibilities while continuing to grow in leadership, teamwork, and client-facing work.

A good week deserves a good game. 🧡🏀

Our Cebu team stepped away from their usual workday rhythm and came together for a Saturday Sports Day, a chance to move, play, compete, and simply enjoy time with the people they work with every day.

Moments like these are part of what makes the CallTek community feel connected. They give our teams space to recharge, build stronger relationships, and enjoy life beyond the desk.

And the momentum continues for CallTek in General Santos City. 🧡

Following our recent engagement with local leaders, VP of Operations Miguel Antonio “Mio” Layog Lorenzo, together with our HR team, also paid a courtesy visit to the General Santos City Public Employment Service Office (PESO), headed by PESO Manager Atty. Hajji Herrera.

The visit focused on strengthening our coordination with PESO and finding more ways to connect people in the community with employment opportunities. During the meeting, CallTek was also invited to participate in the upcoming Job Fair in celebration of the Tuna Festival.

This gives us another meaningful opportunity to meet GenSan job seekers, introduce them to careers at CallTek, and continue building relationships with organizations that support local workforce development.

Led by our newly appointed VP of Operations, Miguel Antonio “Mio” Layog Lorenzo, and our local HR team recently had a courtesy visit with Hon. Bañas-Nograles L. Shirlyn, District Representative of General Santos City, Lone District.

The discussion opened an opportunity for CallTek to become a priority partner with local TESDA initiatives focused on job creation and skills training.

This is an important step for our continued growth in GenSan. Stronger partnerships with local institutions can help connect more people to relevant training, prepare more job-ready professionals, and create meaningful career opportunities within the community.

It’s another step toward strengthening the local workforce and supporting long-term opportunities for our General Santos team.

A major leadership addition for our General Santos site 🧡

We’re excited to welcome Miguel Antonio “Mio” Layog Lorenzo as CallTek’s new Vice President of Operations. Based in Gensan, Mio will oversee our overall operations in the Philippines and help strengthen how our teams grow, perform, and scale.

Mio brings more than two decades of leadership experience in the BPO industry. His journey began in Makati City in 2001, before moving to Cebu City in 2003 to help set up the city’s first BPO in IT Park.

Since then, he has led large-scale operations with 1,000+ FTEs across Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao, and Malaysia, driving consistent performance through COPC fundamentals and a Six Sigma-structured approach to excellence.

With his depth of experience, operational discipline, and strong understanding of people and performance, Mio’s leadership marks an exciting next step for CallTek’s Philippine operations.
