Starting June 26, 2026, Ontario has begun transitioning to a new immigration program called the Ontario Workforce Priority Stream. As part of this change, the previous OINP streams—including the International Student Stream—have been replaced by a new system that will be introduced in phases.
📌 If you've already submitted a complete OINP application before June 26, 2026, your application will continue to be processed under the previous rules.
📌 If you only submitted an Expression of Interest (EOI), your EOI has been withdrawn as part of the transition. You'll need to submit a new EOI once the redesigned system reopens.
⏳ If you're planning to apply, don't worry. The new system is still being rolled out, and more pathways and updated eligibility requirements will be announced soon.
