Please be advised that in observance of the 48th ASEAN Summit, our Cebu Head Office will have no operations from May 6 to May 8, 2026.

Key Details:
• No Operations: May 6–8, 2026 (Wednesday to Friday)
• Resumption of Operations: May 11, 2026 (Monday)

This measure is in compliance with national directives and aims to support traffic and security management during the Summit period.

SUBJECT: Transition to Four-Day Workweek

In light of the ongoing energy crisis, we are implementing measures to reduce consumption while maintaining the quality of service you expect from us. Beginning April 20, 2026, our Cebu and Ozamiz office will transition to a four-day workweek.

Working Days : Monday to Thursday
Official Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Lunch Break : 12:00 NN to 1:00 PM
Close Days : Friday to Sunday

This adjustment allows us to contribute to energy conservation efforts while ensuring our team remains focused and efficient during working days.

Please be assured that our commitment to serving you remains unchanged, and we will continue to deliver the same level of professionalism and responsiveness.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this transition.

FILING OF CANDIDACY IS NOW OPEN!

The Election Committee is pleased to announce that there are vacant positions for 2026 election: three (3) for the Board of Directors, two (2) for the Audit Committee and one (1) for the Election Committee.

Furthermore, filing of Candidacy is now open. Below are the Qualifications and Disqualifications of Candidates:

1. QUALIFICATIONS:
• A Regular member who has been with CFC community for at least one (1) year;
• Must be a *member in good standing;
• Must have a Share capital of:
a. at least Php 50,000 for committee officers (elected and appointed)
b. Php 75, 000 for the Board of Directors payable within a year in an installment basis;
• Has completed the prescribed Pre-Membership Education Seminar;
• Support the activities of the cooperative
• Complied with obligations, duties and undertaking of membership (refer to Article 4 section 25 item a-c of the coop By Laws).
a. Has the time and willingness to serve.
b. Except for the initial cooperators, he/she must have been a member for at least one year
c. Must have not been delinquent in his/her obligations to the cooperative for the past two (2) years.
• Not more than seventy-seven (77) years old at the time of election.
• Completed or willingness to complete the required education and training as may be provided by law, rules and regulations and policy approved by the general assembly;

2. DISQUALIFICATIONS:

• Holding position with conflicting interest with the objectives of the Cooperative.
• Having been absent for the three (3) consecutive annual meetings of the general assembly without valid excuses.
• If incumbent board member, having been absent in three consecutive board meetings without valid excuses.
• Being a full-time paid staff of the cooperative
• Having been convicted of any crime involving moral turpitude, gross negligence, and misconduct in the performance of his/her duties.
• Facing as defendant or respondent in administrative proceedings, civil suit involving financial/accountability
• Having been associated with anomalies.
• Must not be holding any elective position in the government, except that of a party list representative being an officer of a cooperative where he/she represents.

Coop Members who wish to file for candidacy are to fill up the Certificate of Candidacy through the link found below and to submit it on or before March 6, 2026.

Election will be held during our 22nd General Assembly with the theme, “In the One, We Are One Through Cooperativism”
on March 21, 2026 from 8:00am to 12:00 noon at Big Hotel, A. Serna Street, Park Mall Dr, Guizo, Mandaue City, Cebu.
