y, Tekton realizes the importance of putting-in the spiritual values learned and developed through Couples for Christ, thus imbibing the vision “Model in Faith”. Moved by the mission of the Couples for Christ of “Building the Church of the Poor”, Tekton provides an opportunity to member-workers to finish their education by providing them employment. The heart of the service is helping others help themselves focusing on Youth empowerment, employment, and development. Tekton also observes and values a business partnership, legal compliance, and business integrity. The same values are applied and expected from every member: Professionalism, Quality service, Work Excellence through Teamwork. There are over 3,000+ member-employees currently serving different clients who are leaders in their industry. For almost 9 years, Tekton has served in the food- service and non-food industry with satellite offices in Iloilo, Zamboanga, and Ozamiz. In the year 2011 during the First Central Visayas Co-op Congress held at the Waterfront Hotel and Casino on 20th of October Tekton vested the “Exemplary Performance Award” given by CDA being the 1st Highest in Job Generation Category beating all 800 + registered primary coops in Central Visayas. In the same year, it was also awarded by CFC Co-op Federation as Top 2 Primary in Total Assets and Top 5 Primary in Paid Up Capital. As a Multipurpose Cooperative, (aside from the Savings & Credit) Tekton venture into other businesses/services such as Renewable Energy, Real Estate, Travel and Tours, merchandise, and delivery services to cater the needs of our members. As we braved this challenging time, indeed, Tekton is really a God’s work in progress.
