Sunog sa usa ka condo sa Cebu, Grand Residences of Metro Cebu

A fire at Grand Residences Cebu in Barangay Kasambagan broke yesterday (14 April 2023) at between 2 to 3PM.

The fire started in the upper floors of Tower 4 of the said condo yet the fire got even worse that it spread towards the lower floors where there is said to be light materials that fueled the fire even more.

As of this writing, fire is under control and further investigation among the members of the disaster unit is still ongoing.

Residents of the adjacent tower were evacuated safe and sound.

Ang maong sunog nahitabo sa usa ka tower condominium sa dakbayan sa Sugbu kagahapon, 14 Abril 2023, nga nagsugod lampas sa alas dos sa hapon.

Sa pakighinabi sa usa ka bumbero, adunay pipila ka mga bumbero nga naunang mag responde ang nakasaka sa 13th floor samtang dili pa kaayo dako ang sunog nga giingong nagsugod sa upper floors sa Grand Residences Cebu Tower 4. Pero wala gayud sila makapadayun nga mapalong ang maong sunog sa dihang nikatay panaug ang sunog hinungdan nga hapit ma trap ang mga bumbero.

Sa pipila ka minuto, gi report na dili na masudlan ang Tower 4. Ang maayong balita nga atong pasalamatan sa Ginoo, wala’y nabalita nga naangol o nagabsan sa kinabuhi sa maong sunog.

Ang mga residente usab sa Tower 3 nga nagbarug adjacent sa Tower 4 nga mao’y naapektuhan sa sunog, nakabakwit sila nga safe and sound bitbit lamang ang mga valuables nga mahimong ma-hand carry.

As of this writing, wala’y nabalita nga mikatap ang sunog sa tower tupad sa Tower 4 ug Wala na pod a*o nga visible from afar.
