When tension rises, you do not need more noise.
You need a process.

Here is a simple 3-step framework that works in most workplace situations when tension is high and emotions start to take over.

Step 1: Pause and lower the intensity.
Bring your voice down. Slow your pace. Relax your face.
Your calm sets the tone.

Step 2: Name the facts and the impact.
Stick to facts only. No opinions. No personal attacks.
Then name the impact clearly.
What did it cost the team? Time, money, customer experience, or added stress?

Step 3: Ask for the next step.
Make the request clear.
Who owns it? What needs to happen next? By when?
