WATER SUPPLY UPDATES: CEBU CITY
(NOVEMBER 6, 2025)

As of November 6, 2025, the Metropolitan Cebu Water District (MCWD) continues its restoration efforts to fully normalize water operations in Cebu City following the aftermath of Typhoon Tino.

Under MCWD’s in-house water supply system, all 14 wells in the Talamban Wellfield and all 11 wells in the Tisa Wellfield are operational, while 36 out of 45 direct feed pumps are also in operation.

For bulk water sources, PWRI Mambaling 3–Vestil, Mactan Rock–OPRRA, Mactan Rock–Tejero, Abejo–BC Homes, Abejo–Guadalupe, and Abejo–Casuntingan remain operational.

Meanwhile, JE Hydro Busay & Pit-os and PWRI Mambaling 1 are undergoing repairs, while Abejo Pit-os remains temporarily unavailable due to VECO clearing.

MCWD continues to exert all efforts to fully restore water services and ensure a reliable, clean, and efficient water supply for all consumers.
