Handicraft makers and indigenous artisans from various municipal associations, including Lemery, Passi City, and Concepcion, participated in the training session to explore, innovate, and further develop their craftsmanship and skills in producing sustainable, eco-friendly, or β€œgreen” handicrafts and fashion accessories made from pandan leaves and pineapple leaf fibers.

These products utilize agricultural waste, which is often part of local, traditional, and artisan industries that emphasize manual skills in harvesting, scraping, and weaving the fibers.
