📍Mathematics & Scientific Computing Experts with Coding Experience for AI Training
An Enterprise client is seeking Mathematics and Scientific Computing subject matter experts to create and review advanced scientific coding problems for AI evaluation. Experts will help assess whether AI systems can solve research-level mathematical problems through rigorous reasoning and accurate Python code.
The project is currently live and is expected to run for approximately two months. Hourly rates are up to $70 USD, depending on qualifications and experience.
Candidates should have advanced expertise in at least one of the following:
- Numerical Linear Algebra
- Computational Mechanics
- Computational Finance
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree or PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Computational Science, Engineering Mathematics, Financial Mathematics, or a closely related field
- Advanced expertise in numerical linear algebra, computational mechanics, computational finance, or a closely related area
- Strong, hands-on Python programming skills; proficiency in another programming language cannot replace this requirement
- Experience with scientific computing, numerical modeling, or research-level problem-solving
- Ability to translate mathematical methods into correct Python solutions
- Ability to write and debug tests and independently verify expected results
- Ability to critically review complete scientific coding problems and identify defects in their specifications, solutions, tests, or expected results
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
