The Holy Spirit Will Remind You

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in
My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your
remembrance all things that I said to you. John 14:26, NKJV

The Father has sent the Holy Spirit to perform His ministries in the lives of My
followers. One of His most important ministries is to remind you of everything I
have said. To follow Me, you need to be continually reminded of My words, My
teachings, My commands, and My promises. The Spirit wants to bring My
words to your mind every time you need them and at the very moment you need
them. My words should be the deciding factor in the choices you make. His
ministry in this area provides the foundation for you to walk by faith and to walk
in the Spirit. But how can the Helper remind you of My words if you haven’t
seen or heard them? Your reluctance to spend time consistently meditating on
My words can prevent you from receiving this critical ministry of the Holy
Spirit. But when you more consistently abide in My words, the Holy Spirit will
perform this miraculous ministry in your life. Your faith will grow, and His
power, fruit, and gifts will flow through you.

If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father,
and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever. John 14:15–16

Spiritual Poverty Is the Only Path to Spiritual
Wealth

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of
heaven. Matthew 5:3, NKJV

The world is filled with people who think they are spiritually rich. They think
they have enough goodness in themselves to cause My Father to welcome them
into heaven. They are wrong. Those who think they are spiritually rich live in
darkness. Their ears are deaf to My call, and their eyes are blind to My works.
On the other hand, you realize that in yourself, you are spiritually destitute. You
know that you desperately need My Father’s mercy and forgiveness. You see
that apart from Me you have no righteousness. And because you recognize your
spiritual poverty, you have run to the foot of My cross. You identify with the
man who beat his chest, crying out, “God, have mercy on me, a sinner.” You
have gratefully accepted My payment for your sins. Child, I want you to
continue to remain poor in spirit. I will only fill empty hands. Every day come to
Me with your empty hands and an open heart. I will fill both with treasures from
heaven. My Father and I love you so.

I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him,
bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. John 15:5, NKJV
