Forty-four (44) security personnel deployed across Albay and Sorsogon actively participated in the agency’s Annual Marksmanship Training held on June 28, 2025 at BGCI Firing Range, Padang, Legazpi City.
The Annual Marksmanship Training serves as a timely refresher course as service fi****ms are an essential part of a security personnel’s prescribed uniform and paraphernalia. It also signifies our agency’s commitment to providing our clients with top-notch security services by reinforcing and updating the knowledge and skills of our security personnel.
The training was conducted under the leadership and supervision of TSAI President, Mr. Larry B. Ayende, who is also a licensed Gun Safety Instructor and Range Safety Officer.
Before the training proper, Mr. Ayende gave a detailed review of the Four Cardinal Rules of Gun Safety. Then, each security personnel participated in shooting drills using a 9MM pistol and a 12GA shotgun. The drills aim to simulate possible scenarios that they may encounter during their tour of duty. They were also taught the proper grip, stance, sight alignment, and trigger control.
The training concluded with the awarding of Certificate of Participation to each participant and a group photo session for commemoration.
