CORE Resilience Consultancy Inc. (CRCI) is now an official dealer/ distrubutor of Rescue 8 Philippines.

On 10 August 2025, CRCI met with Mr. Ronald "Allan" Cabizares, Developer/Owner of Rescue 8 Philippines Products: an Emergency Medical Services Equipment & Emergency Disaster Preparedness and Rescue Equipment store. Both parties discussed collaboration opportunities and prospective areas of partnership.

In partnership with the PTC RISE Program , CRCI facilitated the RISE Program for Safe Schools - Citizen Trainer Program (RPSS-CTP) for approximately 90 selected students, teachers, and staff of the Department of Education Schools Division Office conducted on 01 Oct 2024 at San Pedro Relocation Center National High School, Brgy. Langgam, San Pedro, Laguna.

The whole day session was composed of topics regarding Concepts and Principles of DRRM, Disaster Risk Profile & legal Bases, Introduction to Disaster Preparedness, and Master of Disaster Board Game.

In partnership with the PTC RISE Program, CRCI facilitated the RISE Program for Safe Schools - Master Trainer Program (RPSS-MTP) for approximately 90 selected students, teachers, and staff of Midway Colleges - Cabanatuan City on 26-27 Sept 2024.

The 1 and a half day training was composed of 5 sessions regarding Concepts and Principles of DRRM, The Resilience Framework, Disaster Risk Profile & Legal Bases, Introduction to Disaster Preparedness, Master of Disaster Board Game, and Community-Based Facilitation Process.

Spearheaded by the Office of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer of Cavite, the Core Resilience Consultancy Inc. was invited to be the learning provider for thirty (30) participants from Local Government Units from the Office of the Local Social Welfare and Development (LSWDOs) and members from the Committee on Disaster Response for the Training on Child Friendly Space (CFS) and Localization of Comprehensive Emergency Program for Children (CEPC) conducted last June 2024.

Republic Act No. 10821 or the Act Mandating the Provision of Emergency Relief and Protection for Children before, during, and after Disasters and other Emergency Situations also known as Children’s Emergency Relief Program for Children (CEPC) mandates the provision of emergency relief and protection for children before, during and after disaster and other emergencies. It refers to the situation when children are gravely threatened or endangered by circumstances that affect their survival and normal development.

Disasters present new risks for children hence exacerbating already existing risks and threats which is why Child Protection in Emergencies (CPiE) is crucial. Taking steps to address CPiE issues and concerns is part of the State’s duty to ensure that children are protected from all forms of violence, abuse, and exploitation. One of these mechanisms is the establishment of Child-Friendly Space (CFS) in evacuation centers/camps. CFS are safe spaces where communities create nurturing environments in which children can access free and structured play, recreation, leisure, and learning activities. It provides children with a protected environment in which they can participate in organized play, socialize, learn, and express themselves as they rebuild their lives. CFS provides support that restores a sense of normality and continuity to the children.

The CORE Resilience Consultancy Inc. would like thank to our partners Josh P. McCarver, Lead Program Officer and Crystal Butor Lopez, Program Associate, both from Philippine Transmarine Carriers PTC RISE Program and Ms. Anna Miranda, Program Officer of ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation Inc Sagip Kapamilya Program for allowing us to share our Disaster Preparedness advocacies during the Marine Eco Camp held at Mahalta Beach Resort, City of Calapan, Oriental Mindoro.

Congratulations to the new 50 Sangguniang Kabataan officials from the Municipalities of Naujan, Pola, Pinamalayan and the City of Calapan for finishing the activity.

The activity was supported by AusAid, Gerry Roxas Foundation and ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation Inc facilitated by Bantay Kalikasan program.
