Geely is bringing its first global hybrid D-SUV, the Monjaro EM-i, to Egypt late this August. It isn't just about selling more cars at home; it’s about Geely's aggressive push outside of China. Overseas exports absolutely exploded, skyrocketing 158% to top 474,000 units. To put that in perspective, Geely shipped more vehicles abroad in the first six months of 2026 than it did in the entirety of 2025. By tilting its mix toward more premium, higher-value models, the company also managed to pull its average vehicle selling price up by 16% to RMB 112,000. Brands like ZEEKR, Geely’s high-end EV division, did heavy lifting here, with sales nearly doubling over the same period last year.

All this international momentum did wonders for the bottom line. Core profit belonging to shareholders surged a massive 46% to RMB 9.68 billion ($1.42 billion USD), easily outpacing baseline revenue growth. Gross margins stretched to 17.9%, while core profit margins settled at 5.6%—a comfortable lead over the broader Chinese auto industry average of 1.6%. Things are moving so fast that management has already torn up its old playbook, officially bumping its full-year export target from 640,000 to 920,000 units.
