BUY BUST OPERATION IN PUROK 20 MINTAL DAVAO CITY RESULTED TO ARMED CONFRONTATION

Tugbok Police Station - on 9:20PM of September 28, 2022 , the SDEU of Tugbok Police Station under supervision of PMAJ MICHAEL SALVE UYANGUREN, Station Commander conducted buy bust operation at Purok 20, San Roque, Brgy Mintal Davao City under PDEA 11 coordination. That after the transaction was consummated and PCpl Uyanguren pronounced his authority as Police Officer suddenly the subject later known as NICO MEDEL CASTARETAS PEREZ,resident Purok 20, San Roque, Brgy Mintal, Tugbok District, Davao City drew his firearm tucked on his waist and without hesitation shot PCpl Uyanguren luckily, PCpl Uyanguren able to parry the gunshots and return fire hitting alias COCOY.

After the incident, in order to save the life of the subject , the operating team immediately evacuated him for immediate medical intervention to Holy Spirit Hospital, Mintal Davao City and to SPMC but was declared dead on arrival by attending physicians.

During parallel Investigation conducted by SOCO Team, the following was lifted at the crime scene; one unit of .38 revolver with two (2) pieces fired cartridges, four (4) live ammunition inserted and two fired cartridges of 9mm caliber.

While during the body search conducted to the cadaver of the suspect , the SOCO team were able to confiscate the following; one (1) pc Black coin purse containing,
A- Six (6) pieces elongated heat sealed plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believe to be shabu,
B- one (1) pc lighter color green, one color red rectangular box with one (1) pc glass improvised tooter inside, C - recovered Buy bust money Php 500.00 peso bill and other non drug.

3 SUSPECTS NABBED IN POT SESSION & BUY BUST IN BANGOY DAVAO CITY

Tugbok Police Station - on September 25, 2022 at around 7:45 PM a successful buy bust operation was made by Tugbok Police Station at Zone 7 Prk. Dacudao, Brgy. Gov. Paciano Bangoy, Davao City that resulted to the arrest of RAY ANTHONY CANEOS LAGAWAN @ “REY" , 29 years old, male, single, construction worker, born on May 5, 1993 in Davao City, transient res of Zone 7 Prk. Dacudao, Brgy. Gov. Paciano Bangoy, Davao City and a permanent resident of Brgy. 21, Piapi Boulevard, Davao, City, 2. DAN LAURENCE ADLAWAN BALIAD, 34 years old, married, male, seaman, born on February 1, 1988 in Davao Cityand a resident of Brgy. 22, Piapi Boulevard, Davao City and 3. LYDIO CANEOS LAGAWAN JR., 34 years old, male, single, construction worker, born on May 21, 1988 in Davao City, and resident of Brgy. 21, Piapi Boulevard, Davao City.

The suspect @"REY” was nabbed after selling one small sized elongated shape transparent plastic sachet containing crystalline substance believed to be shabu to the police officer who acted as poseur buyer in exchange of P500.00 buy bust money while the two(2) suspects DAN LAURENCE ADLAWAN BALIAD and LYDIO CANEOS LAGAWAN JR. were caught in the act by PCPL Asanul in pot session.

Confiscated from the possesion of @ REY ANTHONY CANEOS LAGAWAN were another one(1) pc medium rectangular shape heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, Philippine Identification Card and recovered one (1) pc five hundred peso bill buy bust money with serial number LM673026 while from the suspects DAN LAURENCE ADLAWAN BALIAD and LYDIO CANEOS LAGAWAN JR. were two(2) pcs lighter, two (2) pcs improvised tooter made of aluminum foil, one(1) pc plastic tooter and one(1) pc aluminum foil use as “Bangka”.

Moreover, cases for violation of Section 5,11, 13, 14 of R.A. 9165 are being prepared for the filing against the suspects before the Office of the City Prosecutor. Suspects is now under the custody of this office for proper disposition.
