Dr. Rondina was honored to be invited by Southwill Learning Center in Digos City as a guest speaker for their recent Parents' Day celebration. The event carried the timely theme:
"Reflection on Family Life in a Digital World: Challenges for Today's Generation."
As a Criminal Justice practitioner specializing in delinquent behavior, Dr. Rondina shared valuable insights on the evolving dynamics of family life across generations. He discussed the distinct characteristics of Gen X, Millennials, Gen Z, and Gen Alpha, highlighting that Gen Z and Gen Alpha are digital natives — freedom-oriented and deeply mental health-conscious.
Dr. Rondina emphasized that these traits contribute to the rise in mental health concerns among the younger generation — a reality that today's parents must understand and address with empathy, openness, and updated parenting approaches.
The talk served as a reminder that building strong family connections in the digital era requires awareness, adaptability, and, most importantly, understanding the unique needs of today’s youth. 💬📱❤️
