💰 Emergency Fund – Ito ang pang-salo sa mga unexpected pero manageable na gastos. Like nasiraan ng motor, minor hospital bills, o nawalan ng income for a while.

🛡️ Insurance – Ito naman ang pang-protect sa malalaking financial risks, like critical illness, hospitalization, disability, o para may maiwan sa family mo.

Think of it this way:

Emergency Fund = First line of defense.

Marami sa atin ang mabilis mag-protect ng:

At honestly? Gets ko.

They're expensive.

Pero here's the question that changed how I look at insurance:

What's the most expensive thing you actually own?

For me, it's not my phone.

It's my ability to earn.

Because that income pays for:

rent or mortgage
travel
family expenses
investments
future dreams

If something happens to the things I own, I can eventually replace them.

But if my ability to earn is affected?

That impacts everything else.

That's why I stopped thinking of insurance as "another expense."

I started seeing it as protection for the income that funds my entire life.
