JOB OBJECTIVES
To ensure effective and efficient discharge of the following:
Planning and implementation of Financial Plans, Strategies, Internal Controls with Board & Management
Management of Cash, Receivables, Inventory and Liabilities
Plans and directs accounting activities within the Finance department by performing the following duties, personally or through subordinate supervisors
Manage the preparation of departmental and organization financial documents
Collaborate with Management on development and ex*****on of funding strategies
Examine financial and legal documents to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial financial principles
Develop or recommend solutions for problems and situations
Perform a variety of advanced financial analyses to determine present and forecasted financial health of the company.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budget, accounting, and/or payroll.
Supervises and participates in the preparation of various financial statements and reports.
Directs the installation and maintenance of accounting records to show receipts and expenditures.
Directs the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, and operating expenses, and insurance records.
Directs and participates in cost analyses and rate studies.
Prepares statements and reports of estimated future costs and revenues.
Directs internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls.
Establishes system controls for new financial systems and develops procedures to improve existing systems.
Coordinates preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting.
Reviews financial statements with management personnel.
Directs the installation and maintenance of new accounting, timekeeping, payroll, inventory, property, and other related procedures and controls.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required
At least three (3) years experience in Financial Management position
Proven strategic planning experience at management level
Proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel and Word
Demonstrated critical and thinking skills
Able to work in multiple projects simultaneously
Strong Communication and Presentation Skills
