Who are qualified for OWWA scholarship:
OFW Members and their authorized/qualified dependents
Requirements:
- Application Form

- Proof of education certificate
Proof of applicant’s relationship with the OFW – member:

🌟 A DAY OF EMPOWERMENT: BRGY. KAPATAGAN'S Livelihood Training SUCCESS! 🌟

We are bursting with pride to announce the huge success of the One-Day Livelihood Training Program held for the dynamic community of Barangay Kapatagan, Digos City!

On November 12, 2025, Dhen Yo's Place transformed into a hub of entrepreneurial spirit, where 50+ participants gained vital skills to start their own baking and food businesses.

WHAT THEY LEARNED

This wasn't just a training—it was a jumpstart for future local entrepreneurs! The comprehensive session covered everything needed to turn passion into profit:

✅ Basic Cake and Bread Making: Mastering fundamental recipes and techniques in making Cinnamon Rolles and Chocolate Moist Cake covered with Non-dairy Cream
✅ Costing & Budgeting: Essential financial literacy for sustainable growth.

The energy and enthusiasm were contagious! We saw future business owners taking notes, asking smart questions, and immediately applying what they learned.

By partnering with the Barangay, we are thrilled to support the first steps of these new ventures. The program is headed by the Barangay Kapatagan Barangay Captain, Hon. Juanito O. Morales, Head of Gender and Development Committee Head, Ms. Jeanita J. Bangay, and Kagawad Madelen Corpin Lusica. Without their efforts, this would not have come into fruition.

✨ Setting the Stage for Success: BPP NC II TWSP Scholars are Ready! ✨

We are excited to announce the successful conclusion of the Training Induction Program (TIP) for our newest batch of scholars under the Bread and Pastry Production NC II program!

The Training Induction Program (TIP) was conducted on November 6, 2025 with the event spearheaded by Ms. Wena Tinio, TESDA Supervising TESD Specialist and Mr. Jimark Tortor, TESDA Scholarship Focal. This program is made possible in partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and the Office of Congressman Atty. John Tracy Cagas. The beneficiaries are motivated individuals who have shown interest and are qualified to be recipients of the TWSP scholarship.
The beneficieries are now fully inducted and prepared to begin their journey toward becoming certified baking professionals.

The TIP is the vital first step, ensuring every scholar understands the demands, safety protocols, and the commitment required to master the art and science of baking. They are now equipped to transform flour, sugar, and yeast into incredible culinary creations!

Join us in wishing these future bakers and pastry chefs the very best as they start their hands-on training. We can’t wait to taste the delicious results of their dedication!

Subject: Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP)

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all who applied for the Training for Work Scholarship Program yesterday. The response was overwhelming, and we have received applications exceeding the available scholarship slots. All 25 slots have been filled. Applicants who have already submitted their Learner Profile Forms will be given priority for any future scholarship openings.

Benefits:
- Free tuition Fee
- Free handouts and ingredients needed forthe class
- Free Assessment Fee
- with Training Support Fund of P160/day

Qualifications:
- no previous TESDA scholarship availment
- unemployed
- at least 18 years old
- willing to attend 100% of the class
- must undergo the National Assessment in Bread and Pastry Production NC II

Class Schedule:
- every Monday to Thursday at 8:00AM to 5:00PM (Whole day)
- Class will start on Nov. 6 at 8:00AM until Dec. 8, 2025
