[18 December 2021] As of 5 a.m. Philippine Standard Time, wireless communications services in most areas in Mindanao have officially been restored, following typhoon .
Despite the impassable roads and fallen trees, the technical teams have persevered to bring back communications services in the region. The network repair carries on until Mindanao is 100% fully restored. We are sending a technical team to Siargao to restore affected services in the area. The technical teams in Visayas and Palawan will continue the restoration of affected sites today as the weather improves.
In the meantime, Smart will continue to offer Libreng Tawag and Charging services for the most impacted areas.
