On March 9, 2026, Stagno Mining Corporation joined the National Women’s Celebration hosted by the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Barangay Bayanihan, held at the Multipurpose Building, Sitio Catmunan, Bayanihan, Libjo, Dinagat Islands.

The celebration was highlighted by various presentations that showcased the talents and unity of the participants. Each performance brought joy and excitement to the audience, making the event lively and memorable.

Despite the continuous flow of rain, the celebration remained full of laughter and positive energy. Truly, the celebration reflected the courage, strength, and resilience of women, proving that even challenges could not dampen their spirit and commitment to celebrate together.

In support of early childhood education, 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒈𝒏𝒐 𝑴𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒐𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, through Engr. Jenny Rose T. Gabuya (Resident Mine Manager) and duly represented by Ms. Maricelle M. Creencia (Community Relations Officer), brought a delightful present to the young learners of Barangay Bayanihan under the Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) CY 2026.

During the turnover, Ma’am Connie Fideles, Day Care Teacher of Maytubig CDC; Ma’am Marbelyn P. Fideles, Day Care Teacher of Boloc-Boloc CDC; and Ma’am Rilyn Balaba, Day Care Teacher of Bayanihan CDC, warmly and graciously received the playground set which includes a slide, swing, basketball hoop, and play mat along with a portable fire extinguisher.

This milestone highlights the company’s steadfast commitment to community development, with a focus on enhancing the quality of education and promoting the well-being of young children.

The Multi-Partite Monitoring Team (MMT) successfully conducted its environmental monitoring from February 19–21, 2026, reinforcing our shared dedication to sustainability and regulatory compliance.

The comprehensive monitoring covered land resource management, water quality, waste management, revegetation initiatives, and safety protocols ensuring that our operations remain aligned with environmental standards and best practices.

The monitoring was led by Engr. Riajh Jeanne C. Caluyong from DENR-MGB RO XIII, together with For. Niel Mark N. Malig-on from DENR-EMB RO XIII, For. Mar John B. Osico from DENR-PENRO PDI, For. Maridel G. Ibarra from DENR-CDDS/BMB, Ms. Faith Cathline G. Becera from REACH Foundation, Ms. Jacquilyn P. Ramilla, representative from the MLGU-Libjo, Hon. Romeo G. Dacutanan from BLGU-Bayanihan and Ms. Glodie C. Siega from Religious Sector.

This collaborative effort underscores the unwavering dedication of all partners in ensuring full compliance with environmental regulations and reinforcing our shared goal of sustainable and responsible mining practices.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | 𝗧𝘄𝗼-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝐁𝐞𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠/𝐁𝐞𝐞 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠

On January 24–25, 2026, at the Barangay Hall of Barangay Llamera, Municipality of Libjo, Province of Dinagat Islands, a 𝗧𝘄𝗼-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝐁𝐞𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠/𝐁𝐞𝐞 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 Open Training was successfully conducted under the SDMP – Enterprise Development and Networking.

The activity was led by Mr. Arnold A. Valle, owner of Avals Apiary and Products, together with his team—Ms. Malaya Valle, Mr. Roland Valle, and Ms. Lesly Jhoy Valle—from Lingion, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon, Philippines.

Mr. Valle served as the resource person and delivered an in-depth and comprehensive discussion on key aspects of bee farming. The lectures covered proper hive management practices, a clear understanding of honeybee biology, and the identification, utilization, and value-adding of honeybee products and by-products.

The discussions also included common pests and diseases affecting honeybees, their prevention and management, as well as the proper use and maintenance of essential tools and equipment. These topics were complemented by practical demonstrations, allowing participants to apply the knowledge gained and strengthen their capacity for sustainable bee farming.

The training also featured an actual honey-harvesting demonstration, providing participants with hands-on experience in proper harvesting techniques to ensure product quality and sustainability. In addition, participants gained practical skills in producing value-added by-products from beeswax, such as soap making.

At the same time, Stagno Mining Corporation, through Engr. Jenny Rose T. Gabuya (Resident Mine Manager), duly represented by Ms. Maricelle M. Creencia (Community Relations Officer), successfully turned over seven (7) bee colonies and other essential equipment to the Barangay Llamera Bee Farmers Association as beneficiaries of our Bee Farming Project, led by Ms. Jocelyn Paltiquera (LBFA President), with the meaningful support of the Barangay Officials of Barangay Llamera, headed by Hon. Jonard Pabua (Punong Barangay).

This project underscored the company’s commitment to promoting sustainable livelihood opportunities and supporting community-based agricultural development through the implementation of the Social Development and Management Program (SDMP).

As part of its commitment to sustainable development in host and neighboring communities through the Social Development and Management Program (SDMP), Stagno Mining Corporation (SMC) turnover the grocery items for the operation of a sari-sari store to 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐤𝐬 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐂𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐅𝐅𝐀) at Sitio Catmunan, Barangay Bayanihan, Municipality of Libjo, Province of Dinagat Islands, under the SDMP – Enterprise Development and Networking component.

This initiative supports community-based enterprise development and promotes sustainable livelihood opportunities for local farmers and fisherfolk.

On December 6, 2025, Stagno Mining Corporation (SMC), through its 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (𝗦𝗗𝗠𝗣), conducted the turnover and blessing of two newly completed community infrastructure projects for its host Barangay Bayanihan, Municipality of Libjo, Province of Dinagat Islands: the 𝑪𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒕 located in Sitio Boloc-Boloc, P-3, with a total project cost of ₱275,795.00, and the 𝑴𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒊𝒑𝒖𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒃𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 in Sitio Catmunan, amounting to ₱359,181.00.

These projects demonstrate the continued commitment of the company through its SDMP to enhancing public facilities and improving the quality of life of the residents of Barangay Bayanihan.

To unfold and enable communities to grasp certain successful livelihood strategies, the members of the Representative of Host and Neighboring Communities (RHNC), along with representatives of the people’s organization of Barangay Llamera — beneficiaries of the 𝐛𝐞𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 initiative through the implementation of the 𝑺𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑫𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒑𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒎 (𝑺𝑫𝑴𝑷)— embarked on a benchmarking visit to Avals Apiary and Products Bee Farm in Zone 2, Lingion, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon, held on October 18, 2025.

The activity offered more than just a glimpse into apiculture; it immersed participants in the real-life rhythm of the bee farm. As they experienced the actual harvesting of honey, they also uncovered effective beekeeping techniques and explored a variety of honey by-products that make bee farming a versatile livelihood.

This hands-on experience not only deepened their understanding of effective techniques but also inspired new possibilities for their own communities, reinforcing the power of shared learning and sustainable practice.

The meeting was held at Eric’s Farm View Place in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.
