The Negosyo Center Dipolog, upon the invitation of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), conducted a series of learning sessions for 66 members of Informal Sector Associations on June 5, 2026, at Top Plaza Pension, Dipolog City.

Participants attended sessions on "Business Registration Requirements for DTI, LGU, and BIR", "Entrepreneurial Mind-Setting cm DTI Programs and Services", and "Financial Literacy". The discussions equipped them with practical knowledge on business registration, entrepreneurship, and responsible financial management, while introducing the various programs and services of DTI that support aspiring entrepreneurs and MSMEs.

The Negosyo Center Dipolog, upon the invitation of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), conducted a series of entrepreneurship and business development sessions for 25 OFWs and Solo Parents on May 7, 2026, at the Dipolog School of Fisheries (DSF), Olingan, Dipolog City.

Participants attended learning sessions on "Entrepreneurial Mind-Setting cm DTI Programs and Services", "Costing and Pricing", "Marketing Strategies", and "Product Branding, Packaging, and Labeling". These activities provided practical knowledge on developing an entrepreneurial mindset, determining the right product pricing, promoting products effectively, and improving product presentation to become more competitive in the market. The participants were also introduced to the various programs and services of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) that support aspiring entrepreneurs and existing MSMEs.

The Negosyo Center Dipolog participated in the Kadiwa ng Pangulo Trade Fair held on April 28, 2026, at Turno, Dipolog City, bringing together 33 local MSMEs and farmers to showcase and market their locally made products.

The trade fair provided exhibitors with an opportunity to expand their market reach, connect directly with consumers, and promote quality local products ranging from fresh produce and processed food to handicrafts and other homegrown goods. At the same time, the community benefited from access to affordable, locally produced products while showing support for local entrepreneurs.

Through initiatives like the Kadiwa ng Pangulo Trade Fair, Negosyo Center Dipolog continues to promote entrepreneurship, strengthen market opportunities for MSMEs, and encourage consumers to support local businesses.

The Negosyo Center Dipolog was honored to be part of the JPIA and JBE Days 2026 of DMC College Foundation, Inc. on March 11, 2026, where 72 ABM and Accounting students participated in two learning sessions: "Financial Literacy cm DTI Programs and Services" and "Igniting Entrepreneurial Spirit: Turning Ideas into Opportunities".

Through these discussions, students gained practical knowledge on managing their finances, making informed financial decisions, and exploring entrepreneurship as a promising career path. They were also introduced to the various programs and services of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) that support aspiring entrepreneurs and MSMEs.

Negosyo Center Dipolog remains committed to empowering the youth by promoting financial literacy, fostering innovation, and inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs.

The Negosyo Center Dipolog participated in the Gabay Zanorte Division Career Expo on March 9, 2026, held at the Zamboanga del Norte Cultural and Sports Complex, Estaka, Dipolog City.

Through the DTI Programs and Services cm Provision of Information Materials, Senior High School students had the opportunity to learn about DTI's entrepreneurship programs, Negosyo Center services, and the various government support available for aspiring entrepreneurs. Information materials were also distributed to help students explore business opportunities and make informed career decisions.

Negosyo Center Dipolog remains committed to bringing DTI programs closer to the youth and inspiring the next generation to pursue innovation, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning.

The Negosyo Center Dipolog took part in the Localized Career Expo 2026 held at Cogon National High School on February 13, 2026, where 100 Senior High School students participated in two learning sessions: "Financial Literacy cm DTI Programs and Services" and "Igniting Entrepreneurial Spirit: Opportunities for Small Business & Enterprise".

The discussions introduced students to practical financial management, entrepreneurship, and the various programs and services of DTI that support aspiring entrepreneurs. Through these sessions, the students were encouraged to develop responsible financial habits, explore business opportunities, and consider entrepreneurship as one of their future career paths.

Negosyo Center Dipolog remains committed to empowering the youth by equipping them with knowledge and opportunities that will help them become financially responsible and future-ready entrepreneurs.
