It is time to express our deepest gratitude to our outgoing chairperson, Asst. Prof. John Rafael R. Arañas. He has beautifully steered our collective efforts from 2023 to 2026. His heartfelt message perfectly captures the true essence of our growing consortium. We are so incredibly proud of the strong foundation he built for all of us.

A new chapter officially begins for the Consortium of Universities for Nutrition and Dietetics!

We successfully hosted our virtual Leadership Turnover Ceremony last July 31, 2026. It was a truly wonderful afternoon of sharing visions and uniting in purpose for the Visayas.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to our outgoing chairperson, Asst. Prof. John Rafael R. Arañas of Cebu Doctors' University. His incredible dedication beautifully paved the way for our collaborative success.

Now, we are absolutely thrilled to welcome Asst. Prof. Ruth Ann S. Entea as Silliman University takes the leadership stage! The future of our consortium shines so brightly right now. Under her fresh guidance, we eagerly look forward to achieving even more amazing milestones together.

Please join us in warmly welcoming our new leader as we continue to advance nutrition education!

There is a profound Japanese proverb stating that a single falling leaf signals a beautiful change in the entire season. Our own season of change began humbly as a focused tripartite talk. In 2021, Cebu Doctors' University, Silliman University, and the University of San Carlos initially gathered to share bright ideas. We simply wanted to explore how we could elevate our educational standards on teaching, community extension, and research collaboration.

Words of this academic endeavor rippled quickly across the island waters. We warmly invited other existing partners to join this blossoming consortia. By the year 2023, it officially evolved into a strong six-member alliance among Visayas schools. We all actively share vital resources to significantly improve the nutrition and dietetics program. The mandate, no competition just shared visions.

To maintain fairness and fresh perspectives, every member school assumes a rotational leadership position. This crucial guiding role is specifically designed to last for exactly 3 Academic years. The time has finally arrived to pass the steering wheel to our trusted peers. For this upcoming cycle, Silliman University is taking the proud mantle of leading the consortia.

We invite our partner institutions to witness this milestone under our beautiful theme of Collaborative Steps: Sharing Visions and Uniting in Purpose for the Visayas. The highly anticipated Leadership Turnover Ceremony will take place virtually on July 31, 2026.

Let us continue growing our shared roots and nurturing the future of allied health professionals.
