Job Title: Skip Trace Specialist – Collections Data Entry (US Debt Collection Company)

Job Type: Full-Time | Remote | Work From Home
Salary: $450–550/month (negotiable based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, US business hours (Eastern or Central time zone)

About the Role

We are a US-based accounts receivable and collections company hiring a detail-oriented Skip Trace Specialist to help us locate and verify debtor contact information. You will work through a case queue in our collections software (Collections Max), use an online people-search tool (TruthFinder), and update records accurately and efficiently.

This is steady, repeatable work with clear SOPs. If you are organized, accurate, and comfortable working with US collections software and VPN, this role is a great long-term fit.

What You Will Do

Log into our VPN and Collections Max platform each shift
Work through an assigned queue of debtor accounts
Search for current contact information (phone, email, address) using TruthFinder
Update name, phone numbers, email addresses, and mailing addresses in Collections Max
Flag deceased accounts following a documented procedure
Complete approximately 5 accounts per hour with high accuracy
Follow our step-by-step SOP for every account — no guesswork required
Requirements

Minimum 1 year experience in data entry, collections, BPO, or skip tracing
Strong attention to detail — accuracy matters more than speed
Comfortable working inside US business software via VPN
Reliable internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps, wired preferred)
Quiet home workspace
Able to work US Eastern or Central time zone hours
Good written English for internal notes and communication
Preferred (not required)

Prior experience with skip tracing tools (TruthFinder, Spokeo, IRB Search, or similar)
Background in US debt collection, BPO for US clients, or legal/medical records data entry
