The sharpest people don’t work the hardest… they work the smartest!
Once, there was a woodcutter na hindi basta-basta… malakas, determinado, and hungry to prove himself.
He applied for a job sa isang timber company… and instantly got hired.
The pay was solid, the environment was good, kaya mindset niya:
“I’LL DOMINATE THIS!”
His boss handed him an axe and pointed to his area.
DAY 1: 18 trees down! 🪓
“Excellent,” sabi ng boss. “Keep that momentum.”
Kaya lalong nagliyab ang motivation niya.
But on DAY 2, kahit mas malakas ang effort niya, 15 trees lang.
DAY 3: Binuhos niya ang lahat!
Yet 10 trees lang ang bumagsak.
Every day, bumababa ang performance.
“Siguro humihina na ako…” he thought.
Frustrated, he approached his boss and apologized.
“One question,” sabi ng boss.
“When was the last time you sharpened your axe?”
The woodcutter froze.
“Sharpen? Wala na akong oras. I’ve been busy cutting trees…” 😞
Read this carefully: 👇
This is exactly why many people burn out.
Hindi dahil kulang ang galing mo…
Hindi dahil mahina ka…
But because you stopped sharpening your edge.
In today’s world, everyone is “busy” but not everyone is growing.
Work smarter ka dapat.
Not just a grinder, but a sharpened weapon.
Don’t just work harder — work sharper.
Don’t just hustle — upgrade yourself.
Don’t just move — move with direction and goal dapat.
The moment you ignore the important things:
Your mindset, skills, health, learning, relationships, and self-development your results will drop kahit gaano ka pa ka-hardworking.
You’re not meant to live dull.
You’re meant to stay sharp, focused, and unstoppable.
So take time to invest in YOU.
Recharge.
Learn.
Reflect.
Improve.
Sharpen your “axe.”
Because once you’re sharp again,
no challenge stands a chance against you.
