Hi Everyone. It is with great sadness that we announce that we have decided to close our hub88 General Santos Co-Working space and are planning to move it to Cebu.
In the past two years we tried our best to introduce the residents of General Santos the benefits of a Co-Working space. I believe we were ahead of our time. The concept was very hard to grasp for local businesses and people. We provided students and local IT professionals free software development courses and seminars as well as startup and technology events but unfortunately it did not get received very well. The interest were small. The Tech that General Santos is used to are blogging, graphics and photography. We believe we were still ahead of our time.
This year, we are still working with the local ICT Council to help boost Technology to the city but unfortunately, it will be without our Co-Working space.
We apologize to those who are now inquiring (there are alot of inquiries now) but the decision is to move to a city where the concept fits more and the services are demanded.
We thank all who patronized Hub88 and perhaps in the future, we will bring back the concept once the community has accepted the concept and sees the benefits and potential of a Co-Working space in the City.
