Anyone can create content, but creating quality content that keeps your audience engaged is a whole different story. Your customer and clients are more selective than ever before deciding where and whom to devote their time and attention to.
Creating a high calibre content does require some form of effort but if you're committed to growing your business in the long run then you know content marketing is the key.
So I have a few ways to create high-quality content faster.
✅Tip no. 1---Create a strategy
Without drawing a clear strategy to guide your content your just wasting time and effort in creating pieces that fail to connect to your target audience.
So before you write up a blog post, record that podcast or script that video you need to:
Get CLEAR on who your target AUDIENCE is and what type of content RESONATES with them and how they prefer to consume it.
✅Tip no. 2---Plan Ahead of time
Ask most marketers and they will tell you that their biggest struggle isn’t creating content but is consistently coming up with new content ideas.
So it seems you spend much on using your mental energy and brainstorming ideas rather than creating the content itself. You’re not ALONE!
It circle’s back to preparation.
Try to mapping all listed topics and events and schedule them in a publish dates in a content calendar. Taking the time to plan in a month might seem a counterproductive but might take as much as the guesswork out of the creation process.
Ultimately, allow you to focus on churning high-quality content than much more quickly.
✅Tip no. 3---Keep a bank of content ideas
It happens to all of us, right before you sleep, you have stellar ideas for a podcast or blog post. You tell yourself, that’s not the usual way the story unfolds.
As I mention, half of the battle in creating a content creation is coming up ideas.
So I have a system in place to shelf fast all the nuggets for rainy days.
A free tool like Evernote, stores and organizes your notes it is both web and mobile-friendly. It’s just one of the many options to start keeping a bank of the content list.
✅Tip no.4---Focus On One Topic
What if I told you one piece of content per week could help you cover most of your content needs?
That’s possible using the power of repurposing.
Saying you spend on time writing a blog post may be thousand plus words it covers the topic in depth.
You can segment that task in 3 or 4 bite-size scripts or videos. Maybe interview an industry expert on your podcast then use the show note to stand alone in the blog post.
To slides to social media post, tweetable tips, Infographics, one will piece of content can be converted into any marketing medium and eliminate the need to focus on producing a piece with intention of carve it up.
Get more work done and without the effort.
✅Tip no.5---Simplify your message.
Keep your content consumable and also requires less time to create. Avoid overwhelming your audience with one objective and one relevant topic.
Keep your content clear, concise and easy to follow.
And when you’re just starting out pick the topic that your knowledgeable enough and most familiar with so you’re not devoting time to research.
You’re more likely to capture and keep the attention of your target market with focus uncomplicated information.
So again, keep it simple works and simple sells.
✅Tip no. 6---Use a timer
We tend to rush things especially if we have a deadline to run. If we have a week, we have a week. But if we have only a day to finish the project, a sense of urgency sharpens our focus and motivate us to deliver a journal crunch time.
You can apply this concept to quicken your content creation process by using a timer and pressing yourself to finish before when your time is out.
This does not only force you to progress in the steady phase but it also builds a creative momentum. It prevents you from losing a train of thought.
Sometimes it takes a little pressure to create some serious valuable gem.
So that’s it. I hope it helps you to create your content fast for months and even years. Type FAST in the comment if you want more of my content ideas strategy.
