Iligan Climate+ is an initiative through the Center for Digital Iligan, Innovation and Sustainability (CDIIIS) and the Digital Creatives Hub Iligan (DCHI) that promotes a data-driven and community-centered approach to climate preparedness by linking official advisories, local information, technology, innovation, and public action.

With El Niño conditions expected to persist, everyone is urged to save food, water, and energy, safeguard health and livelihoods, heed official advice, and promote community preparedness.

𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝘆𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗨𝗕

Strengthening cybersecurity awareness within local government and education stakeholders, the Cyber Hygiene Awareness Training was conducted for personnel of the Local School Board (LSB) at the Digital Creatives Hub Iligan.

The session provided participants with practical knowledge on essential cyber hygiene practices that can be applied in their day-to-day work, particularly in protecting digital accounts, official communications, records, and sensitive information.

Participants were oriented on key cybersecurity practices, including recognizing phishing attempts, maintaining strong and secure passwords, protecting confidential data, avoiding suspicious links and downloads, and practicing responsible digital behavior.

Facilitated by the Cybersecurity Division of the LGU Iligan – Information & Communications Technology Center (ICTC), the training forms part of the continuing Cyber Hygiene Awareness Roadshow, which aims to strengthen cybersecurity awareness, digital responsibility, and institutional readiness across the local government workforce.

Through initiatives such as this, the Digital Creatives Hub Iligan continues to provide a learning environment where government offices and stakeholders can build practical digital skills and strengthen their capacity to safely navigate an increasingly digital workplace.

🇵🇭🌏 Witness the Philippines’ commitment to shaping a future-ready TVET system for ASEAN!

The Philippines advances regional cooperation through the 1st TVET Technical Policy Dialogue on Digital Transformation and the Future of Skills, bringing together ASEAN stakeholders to discuss emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities brought by digitalization, artificial intelligence, and other emerging technologies.

The dialogue aims to deepen regional collaboration, promote policy convergence, and generate insights that will help ensure workers are equipped with relevant skills and no one is left behind amid the changing world of work.

Supporting the ASEAN Community Vision 2045 and the ASEAN TVET Council (ATC) Work Plan 2021–2030, this milestone is part of TESDA's series of policy dialogues under the 2026 Philippines ASEAN Chairship under the theme "Navigating Our Future, Together".
