Through the strong partnership of 𝐃𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐕𝐈, 𝐃𝐎𝐒𝐓-𝐌𝐈𝐑𝐃𝐂 𝐀𝐌𝐂𝐞𝐧, 𝐖𝐕𝐒𝐔-𝐊𝐓𝐓𝐁𝐃𝐂, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐈𝐍𝐇𝐈 𝐓𝐁𝐈, AMCen WV serves as a regional training, demonstration, consultation, and service hub for additive manufacturing and related innovation activities.⁣

The Center will offer capability-building activities, technical consultations, 3D modeling and printing assistance, prototyping support, and industry-responsive services. These programs aim to help researchers and innovators transform ideas into tangible prototypes, assist MSMEs in exploring technology-based solutions, and strengthen the readiness of Western Visayas for advanced manufacturing applications.⁣

The opening of AMCen WV programs also marks a stronger push toward inclusive innovation. By bringing additive manufacturing closer to local stakeholders, AMCen WV seeks to promote awareness, build technical competencies, encourage collaboration, and support the development of practical solutions for priority sectors such as manufacturing, health, education, design, and local enterprise development.⁣

AMCen WV forms part of the broader DOST-supported project, “𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝟒.𝟎 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐬,” under the 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦.
