Qualifications:
- Registered Physiotherapist from home country
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
- Minimum 2 years of post-secondary education related to Physiotherapy or Rehabilitation
- Patient Support: Assist physiotherapists in providing hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises, stretches, and manual therapy techniques.
- Treatment Setup: Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions, ensuring everything is clean, organized, and ready for patient use.
- Patient Assessment: Help physiotherapists by documenting patients' progress, range of motion, and other relevant data during therapy sessions.
- Educational Support: Instruct patients on prescribed exercises and activities to improve mobility, strength, and overall health under the guidance of a physiotherapist.
Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and handling billing and insurance claims.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all therapy equipment is in good working order, clean, and properly stored after each use.
- Patient Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, explaining treatment plans, answering questions, and providing encouragement and support.
- Compliance and Safety: Adhere to healthcare regulations and safety protocols to maintain a safe and effective treatment environment for patients and staff.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of treatment.
- Professional Development: Stay informed about current practices and advancements in physiotherapy through continuing education and training opportunities.
