This was taken during a Tech Innovation Day, and one thing people don’t usually see in corporate events is how much preparation happens before anyone enters the room.

Hosting isn’t just about showing up and speaking.
For me, a 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺.
It’s where I start spotting possible issues before they happen.

Questions like:

Even simple mic testing matters more than people realize.

Because one audio issue, missed cue, or timing problem can quickly affect the experience once the room is full.

One thing I’ve learned from hosting corporate events:

𝐀 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥-𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞.

You can have:
✔ a great venue
✔ complete program
✔ strong lineup of speakers
..but people can still lose interest halfway through.
