July 28, 2026 | The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) โ Cavite, in partnership with SM City Rosario, successfully conducted a Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Seminar/Workshop for the tenants of SM City Rosario and MSMEs from the Municipality of Rosario.
The seminar highlighted the significance of risk assessment, contingency planning, and business resilience in ensuring the continuity of business operations during emergencies and unforeseen events. Participants learned how to identify potential risks and develop practical strategies to minimize operational disruptions while sustaining their business operations.
The program commenced with Mr. John Paulo Panerio, Trade Industry Development Analyst, who delivered the introductory discussion on BCP. This was followed by a comprehensive discussion and hands-on workshop facilitated by Mr. Ruy Manaog, Senior Trade Industry Development Specialist, who guided the participants in developing their own Business Continuity Plans.
Through initiatives such as this, DTI Cavite continues to empower MSMEs by promoting business resilience and preparedness, enabling enterprises to adapt, recover, and sustain their operations amid evolving challenges.
