Nindot jud gihapon ang printed pics kaysa sa soft copy.
Please support local photographers.💕
“Mga Itay at Inay” 🥺
As graduation and recognition day approach, we all know how special these moments are, not just for the students, but for the entire family. These are milestones worth remembering, worth keeping, and worth celebrating. Naturally, many of us bring out our phones to capture every smile, every award, and every proud moment on stage. And there’s nothing wrong with that, it’s part of how we preserve memories today.
But maybe, just maybe, we can pause and think about the people behind the cameras too, the traditional photographers who are present during these events. Sila yung tahimik lang na nagtatrabaho, waiting for the perfect shot, making sure every child has a printed memory they can hold onto for years.
Yes, we already have smartphones, and yes, we can take as many pictures as we want for free. But what is 50 pesos, really, in exchange for supporting someone’s livelihood? It may seem small to us, but for them, that simple act of buying a printed photo means a lot. It’s not just about the money, it’s about recognizing their effort, their craft, and their role in preserving these once-in-a-lifetime moments.
Hindi naman kabigatan sa bulsa, pero malaking tulong na sa kanila. Once or twice a year lang sila nagkakaroon ng ganitong pagkakataon para kumita. Sa isang iglap ng pagbili natin ng litrato, may napapasaya tayong pamilya.
Let’s not just celebrate our children’s achievements, let’s also show kindness and support to others who are part of their journey. In a world that’s becoming more digital, choosing to support something traditional is already a meaningful act.
Pls, let’s support them. 🥹
