The Coast Guard Station Malacaรฑang adopts the 3Ps -- Pre-Emptive, Preventive, and Proactive -- to strengthen typhoon preparedness and response in anticipation of Super Typhoon .

This operational approach is anchored on the Philippine Coast Guard's (PCG) Intensified Community assistance Awareness, Response, and Enforcement (iCARE) program that prioritizes the protection of lives, prevention of maritime incidents, safeguarding of critical assets, and coordinated emergency response before, during, and after the typhoon.
