Bureau of Internal Revenue Commissioner Romeo D. Lumagui, Jr. clarifies that the deadline for filing and payment of 2022 AITR remains to be on April 17, 2023. Commissioner Lumagui has implemented several programs that will make the lives of taxpayers during this tax filing season more convenient. This is in line with his mission of transforming the BIR into a service-oriented agency, not just a goal-oriented one.
