NEWS UPDATE: Consumers in Metro Cebu should brace for another round of rotational brownouts on Wednesday, Aug. 12, as the Visayas grid enters its fifth red alert.

The National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) placed the Visayas grid under red alert from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., covering the day’s peak demand period.
