RESPECT.

Kapag ang architect ay pilit ipinipilit ang design niya kahit iba ang visions ng client, nagkakaroon ng tension at nahihirapan ang collaboration sa project. Madalas, may sariling design style o philosophy ang mga architect na nabuo mula sa training, technical knowledge, at experience nila. Sa tingin nila, practical, maganda, o matibay ang approach nila, kaya minsan pinaninindigan nila ito. Pero sa huli, ang client ang final decision-maker dahil ang project ay para masunod ang pangangailangan, lifestyle, at preferences niya. Kung balewalain ng architect ang input ng client, maaaring magdulot ito ng frustration, delay sa project, o pagkawala ng tiwala.

Dito pumapasok ang halaga ng open communication at respeto sa isa’t isa. Kailangan ng architect na i-balance ang expertise niya sa vision ng client sa pamamagitan ng maayos na pagpapaliwanag ng design choices at pag-alok ng solusyon na isinasama ang ideas ng client.
