GUSTO MO MAHIRE AT MAOFFERAN NG 30K AND ABOVE? Try this galawang beterano
INTERVIEW TiPS & TRICKS LEVEL 2.0
1. Greet them like you know them.
Kung nauna ka:
"Hi! Hey, how are you doing?"
If nauna sila at ganyan din sinabi:
"I'm doing fine, how about yourself?"
[they answer]
"That's great. First off, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to do this interview."
Kala mo ikaw yung interviewer eh no? Show confidence. That's the first thing you do in an interview, because it sets the tone of the whole thing. Wag lalamya lamya. Smile as you talk.
2. Kung ikaw yung naba blangko pag kabado pull up your resume, profile and yung mga alam mo tungkol sa client. I also have a cheat sheet sa interviews. Kasi after researching, may mga bagay akong napapansin sa business gagawan ko ng magandang POWER LINE yan. Isusulat ko para di ko makalimutan madali kasi akong ma-sidetrack.
Kunware: "I like the fact that your products are cruelty free, it's so in line with my beliefs and I would love to be in a company that advocates humane treatment of animals."
Paaak.
Hindi yung puro ums and ahs. ;)
3. Ipapakita ko sakanila na nag research ako sa business nila, tulad ng example ko sa #2. Di lang yan tipong magpapabongga ka, pwede ka ring magtanong. Kunware tumingin ka sa website nila.
"I see that you offer one on one yoga sessions, do you also offer that to all your other services?"
Of course, ang tanong mo dapat in line sa job description, kung sa sales/marketing/customer support ka kailangan alam mo ang services/products. Pero kung web designer ka, or graphic designer medyo hindi swak ang line of questioning ko sa taas. Tandaan, you want to show them na tinignan mo at inintindi mo kung ano ang negosyo nila at paano ka makakatulong.
4. Insert yourself in their business. Isingit mo ang sarili mo as if parte ka na agad ng organization nila. Let them know na alam mo ang process na yun at alam mo paano gagawin ang work na yun with quality. Example:
Naghahanap sila ng customer support. Hindi ka lang basta basta babanggit ng "I have X years of experience as CS." You say, "You need someone who can reply to messages within 1-2 minutes and resolve issues in a timely manner. That is something that I have been doing for the last XX years as..."
I find it amusing pag may applicant na magsasabing "I have XX years experience in this field." Tapos wala na, Yun na lang yun.
.. Good for you. What does that mean to me? 10 years ka nga sa ginagawa mo. Efficient ka ba? Are you hitting the goals, or barely making it lang ang score cards mo? If you are someone who receives TOP AGENT award monthly, I want to know, tell me how you got that achievement. Kung walang achievement, keri lang. Just give the client context.
Don't make it sound like yung taon lang ang dahilan para ka ma hire. Give them some context, talk about what you can do. and...
5. What you bring to the table. Kasi hindi sapat na alam mo ang gagawin. Lahat ng applicants or iinterviewhin ng client alam na nila ang gagawin. What's your edge? What will make the client hire you above all other equally qualified applicants?
"Because I don't work to get things done. I work to impress."
.. :)
