We are delighted to share with you another positive announcement below from our special international travel partner in Vietnam:
"From March 15, 2022, Vietnam eyes full re-opening to international tourists.
Vaccine Certificates Consisted

They could be valid vaccination certificates or digital vaccination records, such as EU Digital COVID Certificate, CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card, the Canadian COVID-19 proof of vaccination, VaxCertPH, etc. (with a complete vaccination schedule or a vaccine booster). Additionally, international tourists would still need a negative Real-time PCR COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours before boarding, and/or a COVID-19 recovery certificate.
Accepting Vaccine Passports From 72 Countries
Vietnam recognized COVID-19 vaccine certificates from 78 countries and territories, including the States of the European Union, ASEAN countries, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Japan, Russia, China, and South Korea, among others to facilitate the entry of international tourists who are fully vaccinated (1).

In a preliminary plan for reopening tourism to welcome safely international tourists, they are welcomed to visit seven destinations in Vietnam, including Ho Chi Minh City, Kien Giang (Phu Quoc Island), Khanh Hoa (Nha Trang), Binh Dinh (Quy Nhon), Da Nang, Quang Nam (Hoi An Ancient Town), and Quang Ninh (Ha Long Bay) (2). The other popular destinations such as Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Sapa, Hoa Binh, Hue, Da Lat, My Tho, Can Tho, and Mekong Delta would open to all international tourists between the end of March to the end of April.
Quarantine & Insurance
Recently, Vietnam is planning to fully reopen for tourists and lift nearly all travel restrictions from March 15. The plan will reduce quarantine requirements for visitors just a single day, plus negative Covid-19 tests before departure and on arrival. Also, medical insurance that covers Covid-19 treatment and health emergencies of at least US$10,000 (approximately premium of USD 30/person) is a must for each international tourist (3).
Health Declaration and Apps
Required Health Declaration Form can be downloaded via http://tokhaiyte.vn or the Vietnam Health Declaration App (available on App Store and Google Play). Additionally, tourists will be required to download at least one of the applications: PC-COVID (from Apple Store or Android Market) and IGOVN (an App by the Immigration Department of the Ministry of Public Security) (4).
Visa
80 countries can be applied for E-Visa and Visa Upon Arrival, which would be available after March 15, 2022 (5)."
